i love skylines. my favorite that i have seen is the one in south beach looking from the water. i miss miami....
you are better off buying one that is intended for an rx7. you will spen too much time and money ******* with non conventional parts. but, if you like a challenge, go for it. anything can be done with the right money and know-how... |
XS Engineering and RX7Fashion used to make FMIC's with the Apexi Skyline GTR core. You may have to change the end tanks, not sure really. Try contacting those two companies, if not then maybe Rotaryextreme can help.
Rx7 fashion had a fmic using the skyline core. It had custom endtanks, and the front bumber support had to be cut out to make the intercooler fit. I really liked the look and fit of the kit, but to do the same thing yourself would be expensive, and nowehere near as nice.

isnt it the rb26dett for the gtr model??
i thought the rb25.. was for the family sedan model. i think you got your numbers backward |
isnt the rb25 a gts and not a gtr?
hahahah CHUNK!
I have the rx7 fashion fmic and I belive it uses a gtr core :smirk:
YOu are right the RB25 is the GTS. And the RB26dett is the GTR. I haven't really paid attention to them since I let Japan so I got mixed up.
the HKS TYPE-S core is the same dimensions as their skyline core.. so you could use the core.. just have to come up with fancy piping or new endtanks. and i hated every minute of putting this in my car.
