Crazy Intercooler!
#1
I have a nice Skyline GTR Intercooler from japan that I got there. Has anyone ever seen or heard of anyone putting it into an RX-7. This thing is huge and I would have to front mount it. The only thing I can think of id that there might be some turdo lag because of longer ducting.

JOe flo, you have got to be kidding me. THe skyline GTr is a nissan only sold in japan. It is Very good competition for the RX-7. IT has a RB25det motor in it and is fast as hell. I guess you would know this if you have never been to japan. Anyway they have a huge intercooler on them and I have one I just want to know if anyone have ever seen one in an FD.

I figured you were kidding. Have you every seen one upclose and personal? I will have to fabicate my own tubing but I think it will be worth it. If not then I can sell it and hopfully get a good profit off it so i can get a really good aftermaket one for my car.

What kind of rx-7 do you have? I am not sure what I would do in your shoes. It would be cool to say you have a skyline intercooler in your car. I would imagine that it is pretty big. But it might attract the wrong attention (hondas, and other crap). Not sure if it is worth the money to put it on. I would sell it.....get a prtty penny for it then get an rx-7 one. If it is stock then I doubt a skyline owner would buy it....Maybe a 240 or 300. You never know.......I had a guy in his civic try and buy my 13b-rew.

It would **** me off to see a 13b in a civic. I know i can put the intercooler on ebay and sell it. I would just put high reseve on it and see if some one buys it. for a decent price. But before I do that I am gonna see if i can fit it in my car. I have a 1993 RX-7 r1. Red, with exhaust, racing clutch, and boost controller.
