needless to say, I was real pleased when this arrived...

 

whoever sold that to you doesn't know how to pack. Did you get insurance? If you got it from a store, i would send it back with that picure, you shouldn't risk it.

I sent my twins to a very well known shop to have some work done...notice I smudged out the shop's name (shouldn't take a rocket scientist to find out which shop...but I'm not trying to bash). They didn't take any respnsibility for this or offer any actions..."We don't know why they weren't packed the way we usually pack things"



Like an unexperienced noob, I put the twins on my car. Didn't seem to have damaged anything, no shaft play at the time, spun fine...seemed fine, later donw the road I tuned and started running hard.



Then at an autox event serveral people came up to me after I made my runs, and were like, "What in the world is making that noise under your hood???" I was running 10psi.



Now I'm wondering if the balance could have been thrown or maybe some shaft play developed after the fact?!?!?!
