My bro crashed my last car (2k focus) about 2 months ago and I am now on the prowal for a new car. I found this car...AutoTrader Page. It has 78,000 miles but it is in PURFECT condition as far as I can tell. I know that most RX-7 engines last for around 70,000 miles and then the apex seals start goin, ect. The guy guys claims that he took excellent care for the car, which it does look like (I mean look @ the interior!), and this makes me think that the engine should last awhile. I was just wondering first is this seller on this board by chance? And second, what are the chances of the motor lasting for awhile if it has been takin car of very good? I have always been weary about buyin a 7 because of the engine problems but it is such a beautiful car in soo many ways. Thanks for the help.

He's done good things under the hood. I wonder if there's been front end damage, as the small black lip is missing from the front bumper...

looks like some reliablity mods have been done

Apex seal don't start going...they break. And they don't break around a certain milage, it's the coolant seals that fail around ~70k.

Car looks awesome!
