Ok, coolant is full, its all bled, triple checked it, now i'm beginning to think the buzzer is going off because of electrical reasons, ie. its not hooked up? where does the buzzer get its signal from? i want to make sure the connection is there and that its not just buzzing because it isn't reading any resistance.... any body know? where it is?

it's a small 1 wire sensor that screw into the thermostat housing. (next to alternator, small silver rad.cap)
It gets its reading from the "coolant level sensor" in the filler neck. The part will cost you about $80. It's possible that your sensor is bad. However it is unlikely that it is your problem. How long have you had this problem?
ever since i rebuilt the engine, its been driving me nuts, i am damn sure that i have bled all the air out!
is there anyway to check the voltage on the sensor? i think i might need a new one... my car never gets hot, and the ast, overflow, and filler cap are all the way to the top... i've tried every bleeding procedure, i'm sure its the sensor.
i would not know how the hook a volt meter on to the sensor. If your sure then just replace it and be done with it.
I just grounded mine...
Could also be the oil pressure sensor. If you don't hook that up, it will buzz too...I know this because I hooked mine up wrong(connected it to something else) and it buzzed for 2 days straight! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/angry.png |
That happened to Ryan also^^^
there isn't a fuse i can just pull for now?
the sensor (oil level and water level), are just switched grounds. you need to find out where the wire is grounding. the sensor is located in the front of the tstat housing, below the filler cap

There are some black and white connections coming out of that big wire harness that runs on the drivers side of the car. One of the connections is hard to see as it just barely pokes out of the harness, its black. If it is left un pluged or isnt tight it will cause the coolant to buzz.
I didnt have mine tight, thats how I know. STEPHEN |
