I think I need to replace my stock clutch but not sure what to go with. I don't want to spend a lot. I've been happy for the most part with the stock clutch that has about 15k on it. It has slipped a few times on launches but not that often. I recently went with an ACT Streetlite flywheel and noticed that two of the springs in my clutch plate were loose. I've seen an Exedy pro pak on ebay going for around $250. It was a stock replacement thou. Any idea how much hp it might hold? I'm looking to push upwards of around 400hp at the most. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks!

ACT is a good one, Centerforce seem to grenade, I have heard of Exedy slipping prematurely, but thats more of a Pressure Plate problem.

Get a ACT, SS disc, and HD PressurePlate, feels good, and grabs hard. Although this is on my FC, I'm sure it would be similar on the FD.

How much more clutch pedal effort is this over stock? Is it about the same or do you notice a huge differance?

Spec stage 1. I like spec clutches, they seem to make a high quality product. I have their stage 3 for my FC. DON't get stage 3 if you want ease of driving.

Else I would just get stock pressure plate and a racing beat HD disc.

I have the ACT Street/Strip and it's great for street driving. I never drove an fd with the stock clutch but this clutch is a little stiff. It is very streetable though. I can get you one also.

It seems like the ACT HD Clutch Kit with Stock Street Disc seems to be popular and has good reviews. PM me so I know what kind of price I might be looking at. Thanks!
