so my car got into a wreck last Feb... i have putting it together ever since. (project) did paint job and all the fun stuff. so tonight i finally decided to try and start her. i have tried crank starting it and nothing... so we tried doing a pull start and still nothing. it wont even kick. i checked my plugs and im gettin spark, my fuel reg gauge is saying that im getting fuel...



also something weird i noticed... when the engine was gettin cranked i put my hand over the exhaust and it was sucking in, dunno whats up with that...?



im so lost and frusterated!!!!!!!!! anyone had this problem? anyone know what could be up? any help would be great!

Have you had to do any work with the engine at all since the wreck?

 

put in new plugs, and i would try to get some fresh gas in there too.



make sure it has compression, and after cranking see if the plugs are wet from fuel. Just because your FPR says it has pressure does not mean the injectors are firing.





if you have compression, fuel, and spark it should fire, it may not run, but it will catch

 

i did go single and upgrade my fuel system since its been down. so its the first time trying to start it with all that on there.
