Hey bud, i thought I would bring this to the open forum to try to help others with the problems you had at Rotorfest.

For those of you reading this, Amp drove to rotorfest basically spitting raw fuel out of his exhaust pipe, running on one rotor, and not being able to rev higher than 4000 rpm. This my friends is dedication, He had to be there. Upon examination of the car, it was found that there is an electrical gremlin within the engine bay, and possibly a bad coil, or ignitor for the front rotor.

I would like to hear the rest of the story on this, and see if we cannot get this man running right so he can make the next event on both rotors and running right.

appreciate the help fellas...

i havent had much time to troubleshoot this week..

here are the symptoms observed from the drive back home..

idiot lights were flickerin..

vacuum was steady..

pfc was showin in upwards of above 15v on the battery..

backfirin at EVERY deceleration..

explosions happening from the rich state underneath me..

unwanted pressure to the turbos is what concerned me during the trip...

found so far..

not surprisingly the front rotor plugs.. both L and T were black and reeked of raw fuel..

rear were fine..

all grounds properly connected...

manually cranked the main pulley with the plug ports open to hear the proper chugs...

no obvious noises to be of concerned.. but reeked of fuel at every chug..

battery check yielded fried cells... not surprised from the 15v pfc was showin..

basically drove home on alt..

plans for a fix..

replacin the followin.. alternator.. battery.. wires.. plugs..

most of which i can temporarily steal off the other fd..

hopin she doesnt mind at all too much

coils will be the last resort..

im doubtin em as the culprit... from the plug inspection..
