Anyone ever replace the rear lower control arm bushings? I was wondering because mine need to be done and I want to do it myself. Shops in Sandiego want like $300 for labor. I say screw that and do it my self.

You need a press to get the bushings in and out. You cold take off the pieces and take them to a machine shop to press them out or there is a how to at the Lightning in a world of Thunder web site, sucderi.com I think it is.

I had mine done recently. The shop I used had to heat up the arms to get the inner bushings out. All of the inner bushings were in good shape and could have been left in. My car had 70k on it.
