thanks..

I'll try and get pics of the engine build/installation thats comming up in the next couple of weeks. My current engine is just worn out.. after almost 6 years of being pounded on by 450HP I think its on its last leg.

Also having the downpipe remade, and sending the manifold, downpipe and exhaust housing off to be coated by HPC.

atkins seals I believe, and yes, it was ported. I bought the car from Igy(he's on here). The key to having the engine last that long is tuneing.

Yeah thats true tuning is by far the most important. Have you heard of any stock fd with turbo upgrades and fuel and ems running for a while or do they tend to go out soon?

I'd say they tend to go out sooner then later. The turbo im running is a 67-2 1.0 AR, but it was only pushing .8(kilo) of boost. Everybody I ran into was telling me to "turn the boos up!!" asked them why? its making 450HP and runs great. To me the key to haveing an engine last, good tuneing and a sane boost lvl.. just because you can turn it up dosnt mean you should.

Volk RE30 9.5JX18 +35 front + 28 rear w/ ADVAN Neova AD07 265/35R18 all around.. having to go down to 235/40R18 on the front though.

So you are currently running 235/40 in the fron because of the 9.5" wheels at +35 offset? How far out do your fenders go? I have the Feed front fenders and I am trying to get an idea of what offset to get in Volk wheels (looking at 18x9.5 all the way around as they don't appear to have FD friendly offsets in 18x10.5). I believe they come put 20mm.

My front fenders are +20.. If I would have went with a +40ish offset on the rims it would have probably been a good fit.. the 265's were still a real tight fit in there so would think about getting a 245. remember, the fenders are now fiberglass, so you cant get the same fitmet as if they were still metal.. one good rub and there go your $700 fenders.

Yea and good oiling. Do you still run an OMP or do you premix? Or both?

No OMP, premix only. When we had the engine out of the car, I sent the injectors off to be flow tested and cleaned.. they didnt need it. think the reason for that is becasue we've always used premix.
