That's how you get it done! Great post man. I love the photos. I dig the color of coarse. The repair to the rear fender looks pretty awesome too.

I have to pick your brain on the brakelines. This was something I was planning on doing, you beat me to it. Could you tell me the details on the lines and where you got them? I was not sure where to get lines that would work from my calipers (which are metric) to the domestic wilwood balancer. Any info you can help me with would be very helpful.

Anyway awesome car and a great thread!

thanks! 99% of the work and credit needs to goto my friend that did the paint. without his.. insistance I probably would never have done half the things he did to my car. I pretty much gave him free reign on the project. I know he got all the lines and fittings from summit.. next time I go out to the shop I'll get the specs on everything again.. he's told me at least twice that I know of, but I have a very bad memory for stuff like that.

Well I can go to summitracing.com or jegs.com but if you could get him to tell you exactly what sizes the lines are that would save me the effort. If you can then thanks!

yea, not a problem. I know it wasnt cheap.. want to say around the $300 range. the bigest cost was the fittings.. and you need at least 2 or 3 types. I'll get them for you..

It never is. I knew it was not going to be a cheap endeavor. Thanks again.

Also would you mind snapping some photos of how you guys ran all the lines? I was planning on coming in straight from the calipers. Is that what you did?

Howcome you used braided brake pipes the whole way round? That's a lot of dosh.

dosh?

We did braded lines mostly because we pulled the stock ones to paint the engine bay and with the addition of line lock and brake balancer, it was just easier to put in braided lines. that and it looks so much better.

In addition to the lines.. we did all new door/ hatch seals, window seals, window valance/wiper arms ,brake master/slave cylinders and rebuilt and powder coated brake calipers.
