okay so here is a teaser for you guys.....the engine is turning, but won't start. i am not throwing any codes, and i have replaced my coil already....becasue i'm not getting any spark. i am done playing weekend mechanic, and want to take it to a reliable mechanic. soooo i guess my real question is does anyone know of a reliable rotary guy in DE? yeah i know it's DE but i am going to kill myself if i can't get it on the road soon....i'm even thinking of breaking down and taking it to the local MAZDA DEALER.

Have you checked your fuses? although it may sound stupid, you may not be sending power to one of the ocmponents needed for a spark signal.

check for 12v positive to the coils, and check for a 12 ground "flash" of the testlight as you crank it. if you don't have both the coils won't fire. no positive voltage is a bad wire/fuse/relay. no negative "flash" could be broken wire/bad ignitor/bad ecu/bad crank angle sensor

Did you make sure you grounded the coil pack when you installed it?

I live near prices corner, a couple of my good friends live in Newark and I am up there a lot. My car is silver. I am usually with a Montego FD, what color is your car?

dude,

Mine cranks, but won't start either. I do have spark and fuel, but it won't run on its own for some reason(s) I have yet to discover.
