Mine was broke when i bought the car, and bought the MazdaSpeed to replace it. Shaved off 2-3 lbs, more torsional rigidity, and painted a pretty red. Looking at the bracing on the MS PPF, you can see where the additional bracing has been done...and on mine it was right where the stock PPF was cracked / bent.

This was at the same time as replacing both engine mounts, and both Diff mounts, trying to find a rubbin / clearance issue....too bad it ended up being a bad exhaust hanger after it was said and done. Spent WAY too much money for something that I eventually fixed with a $2.15 rubber grommit.

Always seems that way lately. Shouldn't complain, I've gotten a lot of the little annoying things fixed on the car that way....fixing everything else other than what I was looking for.

Don't remember the cost on the PPF, and not having any luck finding a part number for it right now...think it was somewhere near $250 to $350.

The RE-Amemiya PPF is $75 cheaper if you trade in your old one. So, I guess if you include shipping back to japan then mabe you save $50?
