The strut bar is NOT an R1/2 bar. It was some aluminum POS I got off the other forum.. Actually a nice piece, but it was UGLY. Was aluminum... Not polished, just aluminum. I didn't even think it was going to shine...lol

I've got the UIM, LIM, and intercooler started... Filler neck, rear turbo pipe and a few odds and ends. I got this shine with JUST a hand sander 100/220/320 and 600 grit paper. Then I used my DRILL with a polishing wheel... LOL... I just wanted to **** around while I was trying to figure out what to do with the car...

Oh, did the M2 box too.

You went from 320 to 600?

Why did you skip 400 grit?

Looks like your getting the hang of it though. Have fun.

Oh ok.

It looks like an R1/R2 strut bar though. Maybe you should paint it red and sell it as an R1/R2 strut bar for $200 on ebay.

Want the truth? LOL... Here it comes.

Here in redneck Illinois, I guess noone polishes. 2 stores I went to (To include Home Deopt and Walmart) didn't have many of the grit sandpapers... Hell I went to 3 or 4 places and still couldn't get a complete set of ****... It's friggin hilarious. I'm definately not done, just started playing. I did all that in a couple maybe 4 hours... It's kinda fun. I'm taking a little more time on the IC and UIM... And plan on going over the Y-pipe a bit more... I remember you saying you hate knowing you spent all that time polishing and can't see half the ****...
