So I have noticed that my brakes have been binding a little bit and then alot today after a drive...I noticed the tranny getting pretty hot and the car would almost come to an abrupt stop when coming to a light without even applying any pressure to the brakes.

When I came home I jacked up the left side and both the front and rear wheel I have to really crank on them to turn..

My first trouble shooting tip that I can think of would be to bleed and refill the system...

Anyone have any other similar issues before I start messing with it?

Leak in a vacume source,, brake assist vacume. Bad brake booster. Also pull ABS fuse to see if anything changes.

Good idea on the fues.

On the wheel bearing wouldn't it just lock up indivudual wheels? not all 4, right?

I doubt ALL four of your wheel bearings would go at once... Check the brake hydrolics first for sure

Maybe it's the master cylinder. But I also suspect the brake booster or the pedal system binding up and not returning fully.

When was the last time you did a brake job?

Well, I notice if I slam on the brakes a few times it will free up a bit but not totally...The brakes were bled about a year and a half ago and then 94t and I were going to change all 4 pads but they were fine...that's the most brake work the car has seen in the 3.5 years I've had it.

David, was it Ben's master cylinder that made the multiple click hard starting go away too?

Well, he thought it was but his clicking starting thing is back...I think that clicking thing is clutch switch related.

It will probably be when I get back from my trip before I start trouble shooting but I figure I may as well try the ABS fues first.

Update: Lastnight I decided to tackle the brakes. First thing I did was consult the God manual...Figured the easiest thing was to try and readjust the pushrod where it attaches to the pedal...Detached it and noticed that even if it was adjusted it wouldn't have given any play at all. So according to the manual the next thing was to pull the ******* master cylinder off...Well ****. I don't want to do that! Anyway, I decided to just bleed the brakes a bit to see if it helped...Well, it more than helped, it fixed the problem...I could spin the wheels freely and they'd roll by themself for a few revolutions. Before, I would have to try and turn them..

Took it out for a test drive and I thought I felt it grab once but it went back to normal again. Thing is, I don't know how long this binding thing was going on. I think it gradually got worse until it was bad enough where I noticed it. Now it's like the car feels freaking faster...Honestly, It feels like I gained about 15hp...Almost feels like the difference when I put my midpipe or downpipe on...Pretty cool ****...

So a quik funny story to top this off...Lastnight me, 94T, and Benzalee (a Evil member) head to the local hangout. Some kid comes up to us and says..."Who's Rx7s are those...then proceeds to ask who has how much HP...he worked his way up the line until he got to me and I told him 412...Asks if we mind racing his buddy with the twin turbo 300 Z...He had just bought it modded with all bolt ons running 15psi...I guess he thought he was going to come out there and rip everyone a new one...Well, 94T and I were driving together and started in 2nd at 40mph. I shifted from 2nd to 5th to 3rd and at the top of third were a few cars ahead....

Anyway, the moral of the story is...Don't race someone you know you will kill because that miss shift I believe I blew out the 5th gear synchro. Still goes in but grinds. Ah well, I'll drive it that way until it refuses to go in
