I need to know where to find the wire with 12 volts going to it when the ingnition is on. That would be the hot wire and i know the other would be the ground.

you need to get a fuse tester.. the thing that looks like a little screwdriver only has a sharp point, wire comming out of the top and a light inside it. you ground it and unplug the wireing harnes comming from the ignition. Keep trying differant wires until you get the one that you need.

there is a black wire with green stripe that you will need to tap into on the ignition harness. it is easilly accessible by popping off the upper and lower steering column piece, and looking under the steering wheel.......
