i'm going to get a lightweight flywheel, and i ordered a auto counterweight, but i don't have any bolts to bolt the counter weight to the flywheel. i was thinking about going to lowes or home depot and getting some nice SS metric ones, would these work? or should i get a certain kind from somewhere?

thanks

harrison

your flywheel should come with a counter weight and supplied nuts/bolts. When i ordered mine on my previous FD it came with everything. The counterweight should bolt up using the same stock pieces.

yea but i'm either going to buy just the flywheel (racing beat) from a guy with a t2, or an aasco flywheel, that doesn't come with a counterweight.

don't use home depot junk. Go to a "real" auto parts store and get case hardened bolts. You need strong bolts, not shiny ones!
