I just got a blitz BOV for my rx7 but the manuals are in japanese, so does any one know a site or how to install one thanks.

Um, did you get the "rx7" kit?
If so, you just take off the stock one, and put on teh new one... |
post pics of the unit you have, and we can help from there.
|
the rx7 specific kit should look like this when its pieced together minus the boost controller.

simple, unhook the CRV line and take teh factory valve out , and put that in its place.....if you have the stock air box, cap off the open end with a robber door stop end or something like that....
|
also, you will need to run a vacuum line from that nipple.....
|
Its the brown valve closest to the airbox. There are two.
|
Yeah, and you don't want to pick the CRV, that's the charge relief valve, and opens when the turbo is transitioning, and you pop the butterflies shut...
The proper hose to connect it to is the hose where the Stock BOV sits... which is the same as the CRV (looks wise) but sits furthest forward towards the airbox... (closest to the airbox) distance wise.. pull the hose off, plug that sucker in, cap the hole left in teh airbox, add / re-engineer the vaccuum hose that went to the stock one to go to the aftermarket one... |
this is about the easiest mod u can do, like they said yank off the old brown bov sitting just above and to the fender side of your intake pipes the vacc hose going into the old bov goes in the new one, the tube to the y-pipe that used to be holding the old bov now becomes home to the new one (wedge it in there). u should cap the air intake but u dont have to and id at least ziptie the bov to somewhere close so it dont rattle around unless it came with a bracket to bolt on somewher
