****.... the greddy elbow is cast aluminum... I went to 4 welding shops today and no one will touch it because its cast... I guess there's something about the way that aluminum welds vs. steel or iron... they said the weld wouldn't hold.. I'll just have to mount it on one of the other pipes I guess.

a good welder could weld it for you but they need to preheat the metal otherwise it will crack under very little pressure, thats why most shops won't touch cast aluminum.

i went to a aluminum welding shop. i found it in the phone book. they make hand railings and stuff. i would try calling a place like that and see if they can do it. if not they can recommend someone.
