Where is the best place on the greddy intercooler piping to weld the greddy Type S bov flange? Ive seen everything from on the intercooler, to on the intake elbow to on the pipes. does it matter? I want to get the best sound possible.

i dont think it really matters where the valve is, so i try to put it in the easiest/cleanest spot

From what I hear, closer to the motor is better. This way it will sense vacuum sooner and open faster. Mine is on the intercooler outlet pipe.

I think its because the turbo doesn't produce vacuum. Only the motor does. If the bov is all the way by the turbo, then the vacuum will have to travel all the way through the intercooler and back to the bov.

i think putting it on the turbo side is better for the turbo, because it blows off "faster" for the turbo, and putting it on the tb side is better for driveability because you arent decompressing and recompressing the air in the piping/intercooler. in reality the difference is very slight so put it where it fits best
