they are about all the same. i have the pettit one and i think it's great. but it's one of the more expensive one's out there. if u want to save money, then go ahead and you shouldn't be giving up too much performance.

i hear the apexi intake is also pretty good. i would stay away from foam filters though. and get a k&n style filter. the foam ones are good but you need to keep them oiled or else they tend to fall apart

racing beat inlet duct with k&n...

best cold setup imho...although this restricts your options for intercoolers

K & N

Intakes sre not that important to have large diuscussions about them IMO.

Your not gonna have huge gains form an intake, even if you had the mother ****** on ice. It's not gonna make much of a difference.

Best intake set up tp me is two hard pipes with a K&N on each end.

IMO: I like the closed box type of intakes as you obtain air from the outside of the car and not from the hot engine bay.

density comparison..... cooler without question is better

consider the volume of cold air in a given cubic foot with that of hot air...

granted hp gains arent as substantial as with the other available mods...

but respectfully disagree with the statement..as it does make a difference..

ever notice the power differences between seasons....
