are auto and manual harnes the same?

are 3rd gen automatic and manual ENGINE harnesses the same><>??? reason for askin is ifound a nice low mi. autmatic engine harness for cheapeŽ then normal and wondering if it will work in my 5 speed.

No, they're different. That said, I'm not sure of ALL the differences. The leads going to the transmission obviously will be different, I understand the PIN connectors to the dash are different too.

It will not work with the 5speed dash harness or transmission. You can usually find some good used 5 speed Harnesses for around $300.00 Shipped.

yea i thought there was different connectors to the tranny figured i'd at least doublecheck for sure.

i have never seen a nice condition fd harness for sale for 300 shipped, as matter of fact i rarely see a nice condition used fd harness for sale PERIOD or when i do they want like 600 shipped for it which is kinda funny to me cuz they must not know Ray@ malloy has them instock Brand New for $750
