After replacing the pre cat with a downpipe, exhaust, adding a cold air intake, is my car going to run lean? What can I do to prevent this?

It should be fine. Remeber the 3 mod rule! I doubt your car will run that lean at all, if your worried and dont have the cash to buy an ECU just run a little bit higher octane fuel.

from what ive been reading youll be alright as long as your mods dont make you go past 10psi. after 10 psi the stock computer isnt as good anymore

the downpipe can cause boost creep. Watch your boost gauge when you drive. If it goes past 10 psi it's time to buy an ecu, or a boost controller. Really you should get both anyway

I have budgeted for an aftermarket ECU. I don't know much about them, since nobody I know can keep a job and get anything nice for their cars.
