If you have an FD, can you go outside, pop the bonnet and look at your throttle body, the arm that the cable attatches to - twist it and tell me if both arms move at the same time please!!!



anyone with 2 mins to spare please post up if they both move at the same time!

the arms that connect to the throttle plates? I would think they open at the same time but i think one of them stays closed under warm up so you cant get on it during warm up.

thats why the car runs like garbage right at first, and the ECU during warm up cycle also runs richer which doesn't help either for the start up

so what connects them together? what controls when it starts to move? because i think mine might be broken...

do you have a camera? Are you refering to the plates in the TB or the UIM itself? Sounds to me like you are talking about the Cruise control linkage.
