My car smokes on startup from the exhaust and is whitish in color but hard to tell because it is not very thick. It smells like fuel but to me fuel smells sweet (am I crazy?). After the car warms up there is no more smoke. So basically I am trying to figure out if there is coolant burning or not. If there was, would it be a thick cloud? would it persist while driving or could it possibly go away after warmup? Also, this happens on the warmest and dryest of days so I don't think it's condensation.

That is what I've been thinking all along until I read the threads about sweet smelling smoke and then got paranoid about the possibility.

Mine sometimes smokes a little on startup. It's just the factory computer running real rich for startup, and only for a few seconds.

Only start worrying if your coolant is disappearing without a trace...

Might just be condensation. You can pull your water filler neck cap off, start the car and see if any bubbles float up.

What are your mods?

Its not ported is it?

When its warm? Does that mean a few seconds, or you mean after like 5-10 mins of sitting then it stops?

I mean after about 5-10 minutes. And everything is stock.
