Alternator Pulley Bolt

i wanted to know if there is an easy way to get the bolt off without a impact gun...i have tried vice grips with some rubber but it doesnt seem to want to move? anyone.....i want to get these new pulleys on!

You have to use impact. Have you thought about electric ones? Some parts stores might be nice enough to let you borrow one of theirs.

impact gun or you need to get a impact driver from the auto parts store..



u just stick the (impact)socket on the impact driver twist.. and hit with a hammer.

make sure that you have tension on the belts... otherwise the wheel will just keep spinning even with an impact gun

thanks for the help guys...i will borrow one tom...that what i thought the answers were going to be i was just hoping there might be some other way (wishful thinking i suppose
