You have a boost leak, sticking actuator, or a broken solinoid.

Which one or where is another question.

overall or just the primary..at what rpm...

rbrtech 05-23-2003 11:36 AM

the whole time dosent matter the rpm wont go above so who knows the secondary never gets the chance to open anyway

I had a similar problem couple weeks ago, check the map sensor.

Not the map sensor....he'd be complaining about other stuff other than boost if it was the map.

same problem with my car guys ... doesnt go beyond 5 psi after initial runs at 8-10 ! depends when it holds the boost but 5 is a nightmare all the time !

Dude I told you what needs to be done.

It needs a hose job. You may possibly have more than one hose blown off.

You dont have to belive me if you wanna force your brother to drive around with a riced out car with no boost. If and when you ever get serious about fixing it let me know. Or pay someone else to do the hose job for you.

Its not gonna get fixed by trying to be cheap and patch it.

Good luck, i tried helping but you apperently dont want to hear the answer that I gave you. Sorrry but its the only way your going to fix your boost problem. If you dont belive me call any rotary shop in the United states and they will tell you the same.
