I'm thinking of now putting the car on alcohol now!! What will i need to change as fuel pump and injectors? Mostly likely will have to change fuel line also to hard!!! Can any one give me some opinions on this? As since i didn't get any bites on the car i'm thinking full drag car now! Still street able but just with a chase car for extra fuel!!! I've had bodies in the past run it on there drag cars and drive on the street every once in awhile! I know about having to change the oil all the time and what not but i was wanting to premix my gas and oil what will i do if i run it on alcohol then put the pump back on?? If any one knows whom i can even talk to on this i would apreciate it!! Thanks IMAGE

I used to abuse it. Now I admit to abusing it and now call it "using" it.

But in all seriousness, how many alcohol powered FD's have you ever heard of?

what type of alcohol do u want to run on?

there is ethanol and there is metanol.

they both have their problems. methanol eats away at rubber and eventually at metal. so that means you will be replacing the fuel system alot. race only stuff here.

ethanol only has 1/3 the power of gasoline(meaning you will need to use more, but no one knows for sure yet so you will have to do alot of tuning to see what happens). its octane level is at 110+. you have to soak your injectors/misc fuel parts in it for a month before installing them. this ensures that the ethanol does not wear them out. you can switch from pump gas to ethanol and vice versa if you use standalone ems. You will run with alot less emissions. You can make this stuff at home with the proper apparatus. or order it from a local company.

ethanol is the way to go if you want to run alcohol.
