you can take your air pump off with a stock ecu, with NO detrimental effects, trust me, i speak from experience. if you have idle enrichment issues, just adjust the air bleed screw under the TB elbow.......



and as far as the airpump, if you do choose to take it off, be careful, your cat will clog within a few thousand miles and cause poor performance........get a MP or a high flow cat....

u should set it while the car is not running but the key is in the on position... i don't think it matters, but its just safer that way.
