got a 97 series 7 rs fd runnig single garret gt3540 turbo apexi power fc etc etc done aprox 2k since rebuild was running sweet till driving the other day whole car cut out. restarted and took off when the problem started now every time it **** up under full load it dies gives the sensation like its running out of fuel back of its fine drive on half throttle every thing is fine but as soon as you boot it it dies as boost reaches round half a bar. checked it for fuel pressure geting about 50-60 psi checked spark plugs and they where all good was told to try swapping coils and did that and still same problem was told to test the resistance of the boost control solinoids under plenum chamber and put power to them to test there operation and they all seamed to be working so yeh scratching my head any ideas would be appreciated thanks

Is the car over-boosting into a cell load range that hasn't been tuned? You are maxing out your fuel injectors are you? I would check the tune...

i would check for a dead spot in the map sensor, use a hand held vac/pressure tester {I use a mighty vac } and apply pressure to the nipple on the map while checking the hertzs on the signal wire i dont know the range it is supposed to have so you will have to check in the fsm. and like rev said go over your maps very good and maybee even log the dead spot.

finally got sum space to put in workshop and do some investigating found 1 dead seconday injectors given the turbo setup im running any one have a suggestion as to what size/type of injectors to run ?

stock primaries with 1680cc secondaries.
