94" Rx7 Issues with standing Idle
94" rhd fd rx7 70,000 KM , stock turbos
Engine bay is relatively stock aside from new spark plugs, engine has ok compression all around (lower 80's)
Recent work to the car includes a new fuel pump (Walbro 450) and a new fuel filter. Car was running fine with after these we're done for about a month which leads me to believe the problem does not come from an improper install of the fuel pump/something related.
Issues started when I was driving the car about a month ago and power started cutting out on me, tried to gas through it but it did not work and the car died on me in the middle of the road. Would start up and die immediately. Wound up getting towed home.
After getting home the car got put on jackstands as to deal with a few other things and I somewhat forgot about that issue. Got it back down today, and cold started easily while sounding great. Car idled for about a minute and then died on me, and does the same where I can crank it over and it will die immediately after. During the time that it was running I was not getting any weird signs, Ie smoke from the exhaust or anything. I did a bit of research and the two plausible solutions I have come across is either new ignition coils and/or a new fuel regulator. But I wanted to make a post more specific to my case to get a second opinion.
All of my electronics are working fine as well, gauges, windows, headlights etc.
