Alright, I found an R2 for sale really close to me. It has 69K miles on it. The owner says he just got the synchros as well as the clutch replaced and it has all of its maintenance up to date. He's asking $15K.

What's the MOST you would pay for this car, assuming it passes a compression test (although I don't know what this tells one about the engine, other than the seals are still functioning) and everything else is good?

By the way, is "94 R2" redundant? And yes, I'm quoting myself...

As you can tell, I'm definitely not the most educated about RX7s, I apologize.

That is a pretty good deal. If that is the stock motor though I would be careful. With that many miles on it you better start saving atleast 4k now. I am selling mine now, and I just put a new motor in it. The car only has 66,000 miles on the chassis, and only 600 miles on the new motor. So I would say get it as long as you will have the money for reliabillity mods, a new motor, and a little extra for misc. Where do you live? If you are on the east coast, or near MD, I would tell you to come look at mine. It is a 93 VR Touring. I have lots of extras, a new motor, $4,500 rims with only 1,000 miles on them. The car is mint, so if you are near pm me or email me at dhall4020@aol.com If you are not then good luck, you will love any FD.

Buy it now because if you don't someone else will. 15k is a sweet deal.

Thanx for the advice. I emailed the guy to see if it's still for sale (you know how Autotrader can lie...) and I'm gonna go look at it this weekend (hopefully).

Hey Jspecracer7...I just thought I would let you know that your car is the background for my comp.

I would post an image but I'm dumb.
