ok yesterday i drove my car to work & my car ran fine. It sat for about 2 hours then it wouldnt start. im preety sure the starter is still good as well as the battery my first guess was the ignition the I thought it could be the factory alarm. when i turn the ignition all my dash warning lights light up & i can here a relay click under the dash pass side. but the starter wont turn over not even a click from the starter solinoid. It seems like some kind of ignition kill or something. then today i come to work & try to start it & it cranks right up! has this happened to you? anyone know the proabable cause i appreciate any help i can get thanks.

na
the click is a common thing on these cars. First thing I'd check is connection to the starter, make sure all the bolts are tight, make sure all the grounds are tight ESP on the negative terminal on the battery.
*becareful when your touching the starters positive nut, you might be in for a suprise if you touch it the wrong way

I had something like that happen to mine before. I think my problem was just the connections. Sometimes I would have to turn the key 3-4 times before it would turn over, then suddenly it stopped starting.

When it clicks, it basically means that theres a spark jumping somewhere from an improper connection, usually a negative terminal or ground wire somewhere on the car. I'd still check all the grounds and negatives first before spending money.

since ive had about 4 starters go out on the vert id go ahead and say check the solenoid. check the battery terminals first though. last time i had a problem i just assumed it was the starter since it always was. couldnt and didnt really wat to fix it in a parking lot so i had it towed to my mechanic, it turned out to be the battery connectors.
just check the battery and if the connection is good then get your multimeter and check for power at the solenoid with someone holding the key in "start"

its the ignition clicking, but its a problem for the FDs to do this numerous times and not start. But then again you've never owned one

bc the solenoid is going out. starters arent unique to FDs, every car has one and theyre basically all the same.
