What about when it shuts off?? sometimes I've gotten into it after running it for a while and shutting it off, then turning it back on that the temps are like 104 degrees celcius.

I just fixed my whole, no power after keys are out problem...hoping that my radiator fans run when the car is off. I really can't afford a new engine.

Also...someone told me that there is a way to make your radiator fans run more with a power fc...how do I do that?

Do the fan switch mod. I turn on my fans before I park the car to let the temps drop before shutting off the engine.

You can change when the fans turn on w/ the PowerFC and Datalogit.

what do the fans do when the car is off, COOL WHAT IS IN THE RADIATOR? YUP. and that is it. unless you have a vented hood, some lousy fans are gonna do nothing but circulate the hot air that is coming off of the radiator onto everything else under the hood.....try, and only when absolutely necessary, on hot days, to drive for about 1/4 mile with the hood just cracked. that helps, but the fan mod is nothing to me......even a turbo timer does nothing but circulate hot air over the motor, but at least the water/coolant is still flowing in the car, and it might help the turbos a little.....if any.....

Can someone please give me the equation that I can use to turn those numbers from Celsius into Fahrenheit. Sorry I don't know Celsius for **** and running on 2 hours of sleep is severely hindering my ability to think right now.

It's normal for the temps to rise after shutdown. The fan mod WILL NOT lower the actual water temps in the motor when the car is turned off... Mostly just flows the hot air from under the hood. When you turn the car back on, the temps will quickly drop to normal since the fans have been on cooling the water in the rad... and will then circulate the cooler water... Also good idea to run the fans after you shut the car off and back on in a few minutes... Good to compensate for the rise in temp after shutdown...

Much of the heat problem after shutdown will go away with the install of a downpipe... That precat is a friggin fireball...
