Might be stupid question, but i was wondering why some of these 3rd gens have different emblems stuck to them? There's the all-time favorite bird, and then there's the male/female symbol, and i think two more...? I'm just curious.

There's the toilet bowl emblem also.

then there is the mad fast yo rx7 effini emblem whtch is like a tryangle with and x in it

Up Until 1992 Mazda Did Not Identify Themselves With Any Sort Of Symbol. The Only Visual Logo That They Used Was This One Shown Above. It Was A Simple Display Of The Mazda Name In A Self-Designed Font.

In 1992 Mazda Introduced A New Emblem Which Would Be Used For The Export Market. It Is Supposed To Represent A Sun And A Flame Standing For Heartfelt Passion.

Shortly After Implementation Mazda Had To Alter The Logo Slightly By Rounding Off The Diamond Inside The Ellipse, Because The Previous Emblem Was Somewhat Similar To Renault’s Corporate Logo (In France).

In 1997, Mazda Redesigned The Symbol Once Again. The New Version Shows Off A "V" In The Centre Of An "M". According To Mazda, It Represents Creativity, Flexibility, And Vitality.

Then the Efini badge.

I heard that it was supposed to be a symbol of a bird flying away from sun?? Reprsenting the Sun as the exhaust and the bird as the vehicle...LOL

Actually it was just the bird flying away part.
