time after time i wonder wtf is up with my car...

after 5k in first i get no boost. if i launch high, i spin on my bald tires. if i launch low, i lag and build 5psi max in 1st.

in second my car USUALLY pulls HARD at 12psi.

why would my car have no boost past 5k in first? is it my wheels spinning (i cant hear them cause my engine is loud as hell), or is there a boost problem i must deal with?

i CAN spin in second if i want, but usually choose not to.

and when i say bald i mean BALD.

I would have nothing to do with your wheel spin. You would always get the power even if your wheels cant handle it.

Unless you have upgraded your ECU, you shouldnt get 12psi. I would look into that.

I had the same problem but I fixed it when I placed a manual boost line in the pre-spool line. Once I did that I got a regular pattern.

Any Pros want to chime in on this one?

Also check here - http://www.autosportracetech.com/RX-7/Turb...maryExplanation - that should have something with your problem so you can trouble shoot a bit.

your car is not going to build as much boost in first gear due to the gearing of the car and how quickly it is going up in the rpm range...

its just easier to build boost in higher gears ......... so it will take a little longer for first gear to reach full boost

i do not see you reaching full boost in first gear, and if so, it is at the very last second......there are ways to build it up, like at the strip, you can hold the car just under redline, but it is doubtful that you will see any more boost than 2 or 3 psi.....that is just plain physics.....but it will allow you to build more for the upper half of first, and get you going a little quicker....
