Sounds like an electrical issue on the ignition side. What do your plugs look like when you pull them?
|
it has new plugs but they were black and kinda burnt looking when i pulled them out

they were a little black or burnt looking

Yea sounds like a ignition issue of some sort which is also what the tachometer indicates. The tach was out on my AE when I bought it, it ended up being a ground issue, it's been a while but it was on the drivers side near the coil packs. Repaired the ground and the tach worked and the car ran great. I would give a quick look for the grounds in the ignition area.

so went threw today with a friend cant find any bad grounds the car has an aftermarket ground kit on it. what would be my outher options i could go check have a power fc on the way a few friends think that will sort most of my problems out.

Yea it's quite possible it will. Thats what finally fixed my 3800 rpm stumble on my vert. (actually was the SAFC, but same concept) |
