Thumbs down

-Pull the fuel pump relay.

-Take out the spark plugs

-Turn the motor over with the plugs out for 10 seconds.

-Wait a few minutes and then do it again. Repeat these steps until no gas sprays out of the plug holes.

-Put new plugs back in but dont hook up the plug wires.

-Rotate the motor with the gas pedal wide open for 10 seconds.

-Reinstall the fuel pump relay and plug wires.

-Start it.

-Once it starts keep on the gas if it tries to stall. It should clear itself out.

worked for me, but i never held down the gas pedal...still worked...

one thing, you may want to put a rag opposite the hole to keep the gas fumes contained. Also smoking is not reccomended

Holding down the gas pedal is supposed to cut the F/P, on some cars it works, other's it doesn't....really strange.

My experiance! 3 of the 4 Rx7's I have owned have flooded(except the Fd). I have always push started mine to get them running. It worked 100% of the time and was alot faster than removing plugs.

unless its diff than an fc all i do is 1. hook it up to some battery cables (make sure they are hooked up to something else.) b. pull the egi fuse on the main fuse block under the hood d. turn the key for about 10 seconds 3. do this about 3 or 4 times then put the egi fuse back in and try to start it. 7. repeat if necesary. this way there is no need to pull the plugs and mess with all that stuff. just make sure the battery doesnt die.

i guess it might be diff bc of the turbos but i dont know

Make sure you pull the fuse out or you'll get a big fire ball!
