your/best exhaust setup...Tech talk

Stock header, corksport 3" downpipe, jc whitney high-flow cat (it's tiny), and 2.5" borla split/dual exhaust w/ "intercooled" mufflers. i like it a lot, sounds pretty badass, not super loud or annoying, definite power gain and i've seen a drastic improvement in gas mileage!

I wanna use the Racing Beat (true dual)Road Race header with the Road Race presilencer. i dont wanna use the rest of the racing beat exhaust and don't want two mufflers. what exhausts' will fit to the RB persilencer that are single exhaust?
Also, what other "presilencers" will fit to the (true dual) RB header?

I have the Racing Beat true dual header, presliencer, and y-pipe and then bought some ebay mufflers for like a 100 bucks for both. The pipe between the y-pipe i had done at a local shop so its not that great of quality but i had ran out of funds for good stuff. The sound is not too bad except when you hit about 3,100 rpms the tone is just at the right pitch to be annoying but otherwise i love it. Power gains im not sure becuase i don't really remember what it was like before i added it. I could be wrong but i think the price ended up being around 800 or so.
for some reason 3000-3200rpm is loud on these cars. and its right at a normal freeway cruise rpm too

I know, it can get quite annoying, especially when listening to music or talking to someone on the highway.

This is for NA application?
The hot setup I think personally is SDJ header. Then you need to get a shop to make you up a connecting pipe to the racing beat's turbo back presilencer, Y pipe and cans".
All your tuned flow is taken care of by the SDJ header, and after that you have to try to silence the flow. So the RB turbo back's presilencer and cans. They are designed for the heat too.

Looking on racingbeat's site, what's the purpose of a megaphone for exhaust?
I didn't know racing beat used a megaphone. But in fluid dynamics, when you incraese the diameter of the pipe, from x to X+1" or whatever the flow through it will slow down. By slowing the flow you are dissipating energy which is sound energy.

they sell it, this one is $139:
where does this mega phone thing go? where the presilencer would go? if so, there would be much less restricion than a cat or presilencer. does it quiet it down much?
