hooray, I picked her up from the dealership about 30 minutes ago, a 1990 GTU, white, with black interior, 94000 miles, got ganked for $4000, but oh well, what do you expect from used car salesmen? Would have posted sooner, but, well, you know.

Now, any suggestions on where to pick up a shop manual? (best mod I can think to do is to know how to fix it when it breaks)

Congrats man...$4K aint bad at all. You should be able to pick up a HAYES manual at any local shop like Advanc auto, autozone, etc.

So far you don't have any mod plans yet? That's cool...I wish I could stay satisfied w/ a stock 7...it'd be easier on the wallet!

I never said anything about being satisfied with stock

I simply have the sense to know that I am going to be doing lots of work, with the way I like to drive *cough* way to fast for my own good *cough*

I had it damn near to redline within 5 minutes of driving it off the lot

A decent 3rd gen will run about $11K to $18K here...but you can spend about $24K and get a REALLY good one

ah okay so thats approx $25 grand in my money. We get imports for about $30-$35 grand. Australian delivered 3rd Gens went for about $60 grand, its a joke, no one can afford them. They dont even Australian deliver them anymore, we have to import them.

There a a few 3rd gen Rx7 running about the placem but arent real common. I think they are awsome, want to have the Rx3 and a 3rd gen.

Wow, so that is what my car would look like with different wheels, I am going to St. Pete this morning, but I will try and get some pics up sometime this afternoon, but yes, that is the identical car I got, minus the wheels of course, it should be a crime for a car to be this fun to drive.

BTW, if there is anyone else that is thinking of buying a shop manual, I may be able to save you some money, i ran across this site in my wanderings, its in pdf format, so you will need adobe, but they have a link to a free download for that as well: FC3s.org

just click howto's, then manuals, and viola, instant $70 savings
