Ok, now I've been workin on my car for a bit today...and it is acting like it did before, but more radical..i dont think vacum is the problem.....

After trying to start it a few times, I pull the EGI fuse to unflood the engine, crank the motor over...and get this, it STARTED and RAN at about 3K/4K...how is this possible?? These cars should NOT run w/ that fuse removed correct?

Next question...now the car wont hold an idle like it did before..it falls to 2K or so, i tap the gas, and it bumps up to 3K then shoots up to 4/5K...this is all w/ the EGI fuse removed BTW...i'm wondering if timing is the issue here....would timing cause the motor to jump like that?

If its not timing, my problem is probably electrical dealin w/ the injectors...so i'll keep you all posted, but give me some thoughts on that EGI thing!!

This has nothing to do with your question, but is the EGI fuse under the dash and you unplug it? I have always done it that way on my 87T2. I always here about the EGI fuse but I don't know where it is located? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png

At least on an 87 GXL the EGI fuse is in the small fuse box in the engine bay on the driver's side near the front strut tower and the battery.

All of my 7s will not even start with that out, Its suppose to cut fuel and spark...

do you have the right fusebox lid for your car? pulling that fuse makes the ecu not get power

The fuse box never changed to my knowledge....

Thats what I'm sayin is so odd about it, i pull the EGI fuse(located near the driver's side shocktower) and the car STILL runs...maybe i have some weird electrical problems???
