i have a 88 non turbo and am currently thinking of tradeing it in twards a 3rd gen. i dont know how everyone feels about what one is better. a friend of mine says the 3 is a thousand times better than the 2. do any of you have 2 and 3 experiance and what you liked best.

 

I don't have any experience with the 3rd gen but i would prolly trade my car for it. That's just my 2 cents.

 

id trade a 3rd gen for a clean 89 T2

 

I wouldn't trade my car for a 3rd gen unless it was well hooked up

 

It seems to me that the 3rd gens look like more complex cars (twin seq. turbo) and the interiors always seem faded. but it will handle SOOO much better.





and that sexy body...like a playboy playmate *slurp*

 

i think it's better in every respect performance and looks wise. The turbos seem to be a bitch and so is keeping it running (financailly). If I could I take a 3rd gen any day. Sexiest car ever. Incredible designing.

 

Have both.

 

the 3rd gen is better in a lot of ways, but they seem to just fall apart after awhile
