Ok its an 88 na gtu, i had it in my friends garage and had the tranny ready to drop(changing my clutch) and one day while no one was there my friends brother dropped my tranny(literally....). So i guess some wires got ripped out and now i got it all back togather and i think i got all the wires fixed but it wont start. The starter is turning t he motor and i replaced my spark plugs just to be sure. With new plugs it didnt change anything it turns over but the rpms hardly bump to 100-200 I have no idea what it could be. ran fine before so im clueless.

Also forgot to add my o2 sensor broke so it is not connected the motor side the plug broke, i could probably splice it with a new from my buddies parts car but would that make it not start?

sorry i edited that post but it didnt work heres the revision

the o2 sensor will NOT cause the car not to start, just run rich while running. have u checked battery voltage? when u pulled the plugs were the old ones wet and soaked in gas? if so, did u crank the motor over a couple times while the plugs were out to rebuild compression? im guessing u have spark and fuel right? it sounds like its flooded from sitting maybe leaking injectors, could be such a bunch of differnet things? did u rewire the wires together correctly? make sure ur cas connetionions are good also the afm.james

Ya the old plugs were soaked and black. So remove all the plugs and turn it over a few times to get compression back and it should clear it out.

Thanks

Oh and the wires im pretty sure i wired them all back up right. I compared it to my buddies car and it was all the same, the only thing i am unsure of is the wires that go into the transmission up top by the shift linkage. They are in a little metal plug and they ripped out so i stripped them a little and tried to but them back in and they are in good. But now my reverse lights dont work.... so i figured maybe thats what they were any input on that ??

So i tried that and it almost started but it seems like its still gettin way to much gas. Could that be caused by the o2 sensor not being connected?? The rebuilding compression part should i do like a flood clear or just start it regular? Also how many times and for how long?
