wont start!

91 T2 motor
it cranks...
it tries to start... revs up a little.
and then is flooded.
I had injectors rebuilt
new spark plugs/ wires
here is the strange thing the only time i could keep it running i had to toggle the fuel cut switch i installed, if I just left the fuel on it would start to die.
any helpful input is appreciated.

my s4 has done something similar to this twice, I'm not sure about the flooding though (as I never played with the fuel system at all durring its dilemma) but my car would start, rev, die... so here goes
first time: MAF sensor, that square alluminum box right behind the air filter box. problem is the haynes (I prefer chiltons) manual says you need special equipment to check it... but you still could check the connections and give the wires a once over to see if any arcing or shorting is going on...
second time: O2 sensor... mine wasnt "bad" it was disconected because there was a new exhaust installed and the wire hit the header and melted. give that a check... I couldnt for the life of me find out how to meter (test) the sensor in the haynes (god I wish I had a chiltons) manual though.
um other things... leaky fuel injector (primary)? did you mess with the timing at all? fuel pressure? vacuum leaks? comression test?
wish I could be more help man, good luck

Well, start with the simple stuff.
Make sure you have decent spark on the leading wires.
Check for vacuum leaks.
even if the o2 is disconnected it should still at least start up, it just wont go into closed loop, unless your running WAY rich.
So, start diggin so you can at least find out what isn't causing it.
