so could that cause it to not start by turning the key but start by connecting the terminals on the solenoid?

will i be able to get the solenoid off without removing the starter? its an auto

hey pull the cover off and hold the tab the same time you turn the key dont let it close it might start rite up. i had to do this to my 86 and we just had to start doing it to my buddies t2... after it starts let it close

haha yeah. oh well i got it fixed. the prob was the inhibitor switch which has now been bypassed by a wire under the dash. i think im about to buy an inhibitor switch though.
