Brand new optima red top (it never really gets that cold here), and I recently re-soldered, re-crimped, and covered the cable-to-terminals connections. I never unplugged my TPS, but I'll make sure it's plugged in. Tach works fine, as far as I can tell. I don't know about a bad coil, but the car runs perfectly fine other than the idle issue.
I'll try it according to the FSM, and see how that works out. |
there is a trouble shooting section, follow what it says, make the adjustments in the order they tell you

Quite odd man, I wish you lived closer I would come lend a hand...

I would try to set the TPS by feel and not with the light method But on the first try, after warming up, it idled fine! Yay for random adjustments! nest up: rolling fenders. My new tires rub like a bitch. |
I have never used the lights method, I just adjust till it feels right
on my vert I have never had to touch anything, just seems like every other car I get I have to adjust to get them to run right. People need to learn to leave these things alone if there are no problems! |
WTF TPS adjustment screw are you talking about, my car is acting up, idle issues..
|
Bah, fixed my idle issues now I got a ticking problem hehe
