I think they have wireless gauges now. Where in the signal is transmitted wireless and the gauge gets 12V and the sensor needs its own 12V power

and mechanical work all the time!

your heater core can go bad and throw coolant all over the cabin of the vehicle but no one removes that because they are scared of coolant

My FD doesn't have a heater core either

I've never seen anything to say that one is more accurate the other. I've never had a problem with an electrical gauge, and only the one issue with a mechanical. I do find mechanical gauges to be a PITA to route though.

Rob, you need any vert parts? I have an 88 vert that is in my way and begging to go to the scrap yard. Lots of good parts on it, just not good enough to restore the car back to being drivable at a reasonable price.

went back to the dyno tonight to tune the Wolf V500.

Wayne from Waynespeed worked his magic and played with the setting and we utilized the built in boost controller and even a shift light output from the Wolf. The wolf offers so much most people, including myself, do not realize what it can do when the right person is tuning it.

Big thanks to Roan, Steve, Marley, and anyone else im leaving out.

Im happy with the magic number of 400hp and about 285 ft lbs torque.

I have more graphs but I have to scan them, and its late and I need to go to sleep!

Check out these Mazdaspeed 3 seats I picked up, the camera really picks up alot of red, but its subtle.

Might have to go with a red stictched shifter and ebrake boot now?

Im excited to fit these in the car, awesome black leather and ultra suede, they are BRAND NEW, I have both sides of the harness for the heated seat option, but I dont think Im going to bother with that.

Sorry for the crappy pics, will get better ones once I sit them in the car.

I was hoping to pull the car into my shop, but no such luck as I was full. I had to work in the storage tent so sorry if

my pics suck, I could only open the passenger door so much to take pictures and work.

I have some more pictures at work, forgot to bring them home with me.

stock MS3 bracketry, the stock brackets put the seats WAY too high

most of the stock MS3 brackets removed with the aftermarket bracket sitting next to it, later I removed the last part that has the 2 studs per side

stock seat height from floor, it was about 9.5", for the sake of the picture lets just call it 9" for now.

the wedge bracket sitting in the car by itself, dont worry that old gray carpet is going to go in the **** can once I get the seats figured out my black carpet is going in its place

seat height, looks about the same, maybe a tad lower

sitting in place

the sides of the seats are a bit beefier

MS3 seats have the seatbelt on them, I will probably remove and use the stock RX7 set up, thats the way Mazda designed it so thats the way I will go with it.

sotck comparison, you can see they have a nice profile, a little wider at the top section, but pretty close to original if not better. Some of you may be checking out that spare aluminum hood I have, its PERFECT and im keeping it just in case.

here is the picture of the seat with all the MS3 brackets removed, by doing all that it takes a good 5" off the height.

I have already spoken to Wedge, about 1.5-2 weeks to make my brackets to spec, cant wait!
