see the yellow dot on the rear tire...

that dot is a low point.. less mass.. what have you.. on the tire as tires will never ever be uniform

the tire guy is supposed to align the dot with the stem to offset the difference in weight..

this equates to less weights used and placed on the wheel...

DAMN!!!!! I always wondered what that yellow dot / red dot was for. You learn something new everyday.

I had a 275/40 on an 8 inch wide wheel, worked just fine, by no means would I go road racing or autocrossing with them, but just for driving, they are fine.

I used to have 275s on a 7.5" wheel, but they had monster sidewalls, 15" rim no less!

red dot takes priority over yellow... so you align against the red instead of the yellow if you see both

really like the wheels, they look awesome.

what kinda suspension are you on? it would look cooler if it came down in the front just a tad. like maybe 1/2" or something. in the rear the camber goes negative when you lower it so it tucks, in the front you can put some camber plates on it, and angling the top of the tire in a little aims the tire away from the fender.

i also think i'd paint the RB cans, should you be able to see them in the wheel well?

you pretty much never get a angle like that in the real world, I had the camera on a milk crate taking the picture so it would come out steady, but I would never paint stainless RB cans either way!

I think the front will come down once the car rolls because right now it is not sitting right, I can tell that just by looking at it from the side, right now the top of the wheel is angled in, but I have not rolled the car not even a inch since putting the wheels on. Next week I am going to roll the car outside and take a picture. Im also thinking of taking it back to the alighment shop now that the new wheels and tires are on just to make sure nothing changed, meanwhile I have like 50 miles on the current alighment

The front also looks high because there is no front bumper and no front lip, for suspension I have Racing Beat coupe springs and KYB AGXs.

I got say at first I did not know if I was going to like the larger rim, but after looking at the car a few more times I love it.
