Will It Run?
#1
Will the motor run with a blown rotor?? The 89 TII I recently purchased supposedly has a blown rotor(well that is what the previous owner told me), and I just wanted to know if it will run?? If so, is it bad for the motor to only run on one, or is it bad to try to start it at all?...
Any feedback would be helpful....thanks guys...

That would be cool....but i just want to make sure Im not hurting anything by trying to start it, just in case it does have a blown rotor.
What if she does fire up, then how do I know if it has a blown rotor?

sure fire way is to take out the spark plugs and crank it with your thumb over the plug holes. You can even do this by turning the engine by hand, just grab a belt and start pulling.
I wouldn't run it for too long, although it can be done.

So what exactly am I looking for when I do this? Pressure?
