open the passenger door and pull the hood release latch on the driver's side...that's how I figured out I had one and it was still working.

lock the passenger door then lock the drivers door with the interior "****" you should hear a beep and the security light should come on. If not its not working right. ONce the car is locked up and all doors closed the security light will blink a few times and then slow down to flashing once every 15 seconds or so. If you want to set it off start messing with the doors, hood, or hatch. To disarm it unlock the door with the key.
